I am busy developing a Pocket PC application in Windows Mobile 5. Database access is done via a web service (done in VB.net 2005). I have referenced a printing dll done in VB6 in the web service.
When I test the webmethod that calls the VB6 dll by running the web service on it's own (through Visual Studio), everything works the way it should. But, as soon as I call the webmethod (in the web referenced Web Service) from the Pocket PC, with the correct calling line, it gives me a "Application-defined or Object-defined error" - nothing else. The dll is registered correctly.
I have posted this in Smart Device development forum, they suggested I maybe post it here.
Please, can anyone help
